FurBaby Dog Daycare – Terms & Conditions of Enrolment
Acknowledgement
By enrolling your dog at FurBaby Dog Daycare, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
By ticking the acceptance box online or by signing this agreement, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and acknowledge that you may be waiving certain legal rights.
These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by Shari Lovreta Fiorentino trading as FurBaby Dog Daycare as trustee for the Shari Investment Trust, hereafter referred to as FurBaby.
1. Requirements for Attending Dog Daycare
1.1 Before attending daycare, your dog must:
- Complete a behavioural assessment and induction day at your cost, conducted by FurBaby staff;
- Provide proof of current C5 vaccination;
- Be desexed (neutered or spayed) if over 6 months of age (unless a written exemption is granted by FurBaby based on individual health circumstances);
- Be free from fleas, ticks, and intestinal parasites. You authorise FurBaby to refuse entry or request collection of your dog if any signs of infestation are detected;
- Wear a secure collar and be on a lead at all times when entering and exiting the premises.
1.2 If at any time your dog is deemed incompatible or unsafe for group daycare, FurBaby may request removal. You may be offered a behavioural strategy and can request reassessment at your expense. Re-entry is subject to approval after reassessment.
1.3 All decisions regarding suitability are final and at FurBaby's sole discretion. If you dispute a decision, you may escalate your concern to Shari Lovreta Fiorentino for review. No further dispute mechanism will apply.
2. While Your Dog is in Daycare
- Your dog may be walked outside of FurBaby premises. You consent to this occurring.
- You acknowledge that all dogs can behave unpredictably, and despite staff supervision, injuries may occur.
- FurBaby staff may administer basic first aid for minor injuries. You consent to this.
- In the event of a more serious incident, you authorise FurBaby to seek veterinary care at a licensed local veterinary clinic. You are responsible for all associated veterinary costs, including emergency services and transport.
- You authorise FurBaby to act in your dog’s best interests in an emergency, including making decisions relating to treatment and care, in your absence.
3. Drop-off and Collection
- Operating hours are 6:30am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).
- Dogs must be collected by 6:00pm. A late fee applies for every 15 minutes (or part thereof) past 6:00pm. Repeat offences may result in permanent removal from daycare.
- If your dog is not collected by 6:30pm and you have not made contact with FurBaby, your dog will be considered abandoned and may be transferred to the City of Stirling Lost Dogs Facility in accordance with the Dog Act 1976 (WA). You remain liable for all costs incurred.
4. Daycare Fees

- FurBaby may update pricing at any time with reasonable notice to customers.
5. Payment and Booking Policies
- Your dog will be booked for the agreed day(s). Changes must be submitted via FurBaby’s DMS software system and will only be accepted upon written confirmation.
- A 48-hour cancellation policy applies. No-shows or late cancellations will result in full fees being charged without refund.
- Cancellations made with 48 hours’ notice may be rescheduled within 7 days, subject to availability.
- If notice of travel is given one week in advance, your account may be temporarily frozen for absences of more than one week.
- Early drop-offs (before 6:30am) incur a surcharge and must be arranged in advance.
- Late pickups (after 6:00pm) incur a surcharge every 15 minutes or part thereof, automatically deducted via your nominated payment method.
6. Liability and Risk
- You understand and accept all risks associated with dog daycare, including injury, illness, and behavioural incidents.
- FurBaby takes all reasonable care in the handling of dogs but is not liable for loss, injury, illness, or death of your dog, unless caused by negligence as defined under Australian Consumer Law.
- To the full extent permitted by law, FurBaby’s liability is limited to:
- In the case of goods: replacement, repair, or reimbursement;
- In the case of services: re-supply or reimbursement of service costs.
7. Privacy and Media
- All images, videos, or recordings taken on FurBaby premises are the property of FurBaby and may be used for marketing or promotional purposes without compensation. You waive the right to inspect or approve final use.
- FurBaby collects and handles personal data in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
- You consent to being contacted for marketing purposes in line with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). You may opt out at any time.
8. General Conditions
- FurBaby may temporarily close the facility for maintenance or upgrades. Prior notice will be given, and you will not be charged for those days.
- FurBaby reserves the right to assign or transfer this agreement to another entity with 14 days’ notice.
- These Terms & Conditions may be updated at any time. You will be notified in writing of any changes.
- Notices will be provided to your nominated email address and will be deemed received upon generation of a delivery receipt.
- This agreement is governed by the laws of Western Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
- These Terms & Conditions represent the entire agreement between FurBaby and the client.
9. Acknowledgement and Agreement
- By signing or accepting online, you confirm that you have read and understood these Terms & Conditions and agree to comply with them.
- You confirm all information provided in the enrolment form is accurate and that you will inform FurBaby of any changes to your dog’s health or behaviour.
- This agreement remains valid until cancelled in writing or until FurBaby terminates your dog's enrolment in accordance with these terms.
