Dog Groomer – Casual Position

Are you a passionate animal lover with a solid foundation in dog grooming and a desire to grow in the industry? FurBaby Grooming Salon & Doggy Daycare is looking for a groomer to join our friendly, experienced team in a casual role — perfect for someone with at least 1 year of hands-on grooming experience who’s ready to upskill and take the next step in their career.
About the Role:
What Your Dog Will Learn
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 12 months of practical grooming experience (can be in a salon, mobile service, or training environment)
- Confidence in handling a variety of dog breeds, coat types, and temperaments
- Comfortable with all prep work — bathing, drying, brushing, nail clipping, hygiene tidy-ups
- Willingness to assist or work in our doggy daycare as needed – experience in a daycare or kennel environment is a big plus!
- Friendly, team-oriented personality with great communication skills
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a genuine love for dogs
