FurBaby Santa Paws 2025 - What to know on the day...
Thank you for booking your session at FurBaby Santa Paws! We’re so excited to welcome you and your furry family for this magical Christmas experience. To help everything run smoothly on the day, please read through the important details below.
Enter Through The Main Door
🐾 When you arrive, please enter through the main front door of the FurBaby building. A friendly team member will be waiting to greet you and guide you through the process.
🐾 You’ll be given a numbered ticket upon arrival. Sessions run on a first come, first served basis, so you’ll see Santa in order of arrival.
🐾 If you have a Fast Pass, please let our team member know when you check in so we can prioritise your session.
Arrive On Time
🐾 Each booking is for a one-hour session, and everything runs best when everyone arrives within the first 15 minutes of their allocated time.
🐾 For example, if your session is from 8:30am to 9:30am, please arrive between 8:30am and 8:45am at the latest.
🐾 The earlier you arrive, the sooner you’ll get your photo taken — so don’t be late!
Please note: if you’re in the first session of the day (8:30am), we may begin early if everything is ready — feel free to arrive a little before your start time.
Quick Snaps, Happy Paws!
🐾 Please don’t think we’re trying to rush you through, we promise we won’t let you leave until we’ve captured a fantastic photo of you and your furry family! Our goal is simply to work efficiently so we can beat the heat and keep all our pets comfortable.
🐾 This is our 10th year hosting Santa Paws at FurBaby, so you can trust that we know exactly what we’re doing. We’ll make sure you and your pup are safe, happy, and camera-ready.
🐾 Plus, moving quickly actually helps your pets; their attention spans are short, so keeping things flowing smoothly means we can capture their best expressions before they lose focus (or interest in Santa’s beard!).
Important Pet Safety Rule
🐾 All pets must be on a leash or in a pet carrier until Santa and the team give the all-clear. This keeps tails wagging and everyone safe.
Be Ready When Your Number Is Called
🐾 Please make sure all costumes and accessories are on before your number is called, it helps us keep everything running smoothly and ensures you’re ready for your moment with Santa! (Hats for your furbaby can wait until the last minute, they tend to fall off anyway!)
🐾 Our friendly team will remind you on the day, so don’t worry. If you’re not quite ready when your number is called, we’ll simply let the next family go ahead and bring you in once you’re set. That way, everyone gets a little extra time if needed, and the session keeps moving nicely for all.
Cancellation Policy
🐾 As per our policy, tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable through our booking system 48 hours before your session.
🐾 If you can no longer attend, you’re welcome to gift your ticket to a friend or family member- there’s no need to notify us in advance. They can simply provide your booking name on arrival.
Additional Photos
🐾 We know it’s hard to choose just one photo, so don’t! You’re welcome to have multiple photos taken during your Santa Paws session. For example, you might want one big family photo with everyone (fur babies included!) and another of just the pets with Santa. Each additional photo is $20, and there’s no need to decide beforehand, you can make that call on the day.
Our photographers are experts at working efficiently, so adding a few extra photos won’t slow things down. It’s the perfect way to capture every combination of your family’s festive spirit!
Treats – To Get Your Dog To Look At The Camera
🐾 To capture the perfect photo, we sometimes use treats to help get your dog’s attention.
🐾 We generally use Ziwi Peak Venison, a high-value, hypoallergenic option suitable for most dogs.
🐾 You’re welcome to bring your dog’s favourite treats if you know what works best for them.
Public Access To All Photos
Please be aware, to keep costs at minimum, all photos will be available to public access. If you do not want everyone to have access to your photo, please mention that to us on the day. We can arrange a private folder for you to access, at a $20 administration fee.
Photo Includes 5 Family Members
Each Santa Paws photo session includes up to five family members — this can be a mix of people and pets. If your group includes more than five family members, there will be a small additional charge of $5 per extra participant. This helps us manage time, space, and ensure everyone (including Santa!) fits perfectly in the photo.
No Personal Photography or Videography
🐾 To maintain the high quality of our images, personal photography or videography is not permitted during Santa Paws sessions.
🐾 Our photographers spend hours editing and retouching each image to provide you with a high-resolution, professional digital file.
🐾 Allowing personal photography tends to slow down the process for others, so this rule ensures everyone enjoys a smooth, efficient experience and a beautiful final photo to cherish.
Special 'Changing/Exit' Room
🐾 We’ve created a dedicated changing and exit room for your convenience and safety.
🐾 After your photo, please move directly into this enclosed space to reattach leads, harnesses, or accessories before exiting.
🐾 This room ensures your dog remains safe and secure, reduces distractions, and keeps everyone comfortable — it’s also nice and cool for your pup!
Possible Delays
🐾 While we aim to stay on schedule, some guests may take longer with Santa (especially if they purchase additional photos — $20 each).
🐾 If a slight delay occurs, please be patient — our team will do their best to keep things moving smoothly.
🐾 There’s a comfortable air-conditioned waiting area with seating available inside while you wait.
Raising Money For: Teach, Speak & Hear
🐾 Each year, FurBaby Santa Paws proudly supports a local charity. For 2025, we’re raising funds for Teach, Speak & Hear (TSH) — a Western Australian organisation dedicated to helping children with hearing loss, speech, and learning challenges.

🐾 Don’t forget to enter our massive raffle with around $1,000 in prizes up for grabs — tickets are just $2.50 each!
How to Download Photos
All the photos will be uploaded to:furbaby.smugmug.com
🐾 To keep costs at the absolute minimum, all photos from the hour will be loaded into a single online album. This means your photo will not be private, and available for everyone to see. If this is a problem, please let Santa/Photographer know when you are having your picture taken and we can organise for the picture to be sent to you directly via email, for an additional $20 administration fee.

🐾 To download your picture; find it in the folder with the date that you came for your Santa Paws photo. There will be a download icon on your picture. Click on this icon and it will download the photo to your computer without you having to pay any more money.
