FurBaby Dog Daycare – Terms & Conditions

I acknowledge that before my dog can attend FurBaby Dog Daycare, I must read, understand, and agree to these Terms & Conditions. By ticking the online acceptance box or otherwise confirming agreement, I acknowledge that I am entering into a binding contract and may be waiving certain legal rights.

These Terms & Conditions outline the agreement between Shari Lovreta Fiorentino, trading as FurBaby Dog Daycare as trustee for the Shari Investment Trust (hereafter referred to as FurBaby), and the undersigned client.

1. Requirements for Attending Dog Daycare

1.1 Before your dog attends daycare: (a) Your dog must complete a behavioural assessment and induction day conducted by FurBaby staff, at your cost; and (b) You must provide a current C5 vaccination certificate for your dog.

1.2 Dogs over six (6) months of age must be desexed (neutered or spayed).

1.3 For the welfare of all dogs, FurBaby must remain flea-free. All dogs must be up to date with flea and intestinal worm prevention. Dogs found with fleas or worms may be required to leave the facility until treated.

1.4 Your dog must wear a collar and be on a lead when entering and exiting FurBaby.

1.5 If your dog is later found to be behaviourally incompatible with others, FurBaby may suspend daycare attendance. A behavioural strategy may be offered, and re-entry will require a re-assessment at your cost.

1.6 All suitability decisions made by FurBaby are final. If you wish to dispute a decision, it may be escalated to Shari Lovreta Fiorentino for review.

2. While Your Dog is at Daycare

2.1 Your dog may be taken for walks outside the FurBaby premises, and you consent to this.

2.2 You acknowledge that dogs can behave unpredictably and that injuries may occur despite FurBaby’s best care and supervision.

2.3 FurBaby staff may administer first aid for minor injuries. If veterinary treatment is required, you consent to your dog being taken to a local veterinary clinic. All associated veterinary costs are your responsibility and payable directly to the clinic.

3. Drop-Off and Collection

3.1 FurBaby Dog Daycare operates Monday to Friday, 6:30am – 6:00pm (excluding public holidays).

3.2 Dogs collected after 6:00pm will incur a late fee per 15-minute period (or part thereof). Continued lateness may result in suspension or termination of daycare enrolment.

3.3 If your dog remains uncollected after 6:30pm without any communication, FurBaby will consider the dog abandoned and may transfer the animal to the City of Stirling Lost Dog Centre.

4. Fees and Payments

4.1 Daycare fees and service charges are listed at https://furbaby.com.au/doggy-daycare-perth

4.2 FurBaby may revise pricing from time to time and will provide notice of any changes.

5. Online Payment Policy

5.1 Online payments made through ProPet and processed via Stripe are subject to standard transaction and data storage fees.

5.2 If a payment method is declined or card details are invalid, a $5.50 failed payment fee will apply for each unsuccessful attempt, as charged by the payment provider.

5.3 In addition to regular payments, I/we authorise FurBaby to process occasional, periodic, or one-off charges as required. These may include (but are not limited to) fees for grooming, daycare, training, retail purchases, or other services.

5.4 I/we agree to maintain sufficient funds or available credit to allow successful payment processing at all times.

6. Booking and Cancellation Policy

6.1 Daycare bookings are made for specific agreed days. Any change of days must be approved by FurBaby in writing.

6.2 A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel a booking. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or no-shows, will be charged the full daycare fee with no refund.

6.3 With at least 24 hours’ notice, payments may be credited toward a rescheduled day within four (4) weeks, subject to availability.

6.4 If you advise FurBaby at least one week in advance of an extended holiday (more than one week), your account may be frozen during your absence.

6.5 Early drop-offs (before 7:00am) incur a $5 fee per day, payable on the day or via authorised direct debit.

6.6 Late pickups (after 6:00pm) incur a surcharge per 15-minute increment (or part thereof), automatically deducted from your nominated bank account.

7. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FurBaby’s liability is limited as follows:

(a) For goods: (i) Replacement or equivalent goods; (ii) Repair of goods; (iii) Payment of replacement or equivalent cost; or (iv) Payment of repair cost.

(b) For services: (i) Re-supply of the services; or (ii) Payment of the cost of re-supplying the services.

8. Privacy and Marketing

8.1 You acknowledge that any photographs or video recordings taken within FurBaby Dog Daycare, including images of dogs, customers, and facilities, remain the property of FurBaby. FurBaby may use these for promotional or educational purposes in print or digital form without compensation, and you waive any right to approve final materials.

8.2 FurBaby is committed to protecting your privacy. All personal information is collected and managed in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). You consent to FurBaby sharing relevant information with Vogue Vets & Wellness Centre as necessary.

8.3 In accordance with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth), you consent to being contacted by FurBaby and its affiliates for marketing and promotional purposes. You may opt out at any time by notifying us.

9. General Conditions

9.1 FurBaby may close temporarily for improvements or maintenance. You will receive prior notice and will not be charged for those days.

9.2 FurBaby may transfer this agreement to another person or company with 14 days’ written notice.

9.3 FurBaby may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time and will provide notification of any changes.

9.4 Notices from FurBaby will be sent to your nominated email address. Any notices to FurBaby must be sent to woof@furbaby.com.au.

9.5 Notices are deemed delivered upon receipt of an email delivery confirmation.

9.6 These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Western Australia, and you consent to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Western Australian Courts for any dispute resolution.

9.7 These Terms & Conditions, along with any referenced documents, constitute the entire agreement between you and FurBaby.

10. Acceptance of Agreement

10.1 By signing below, or by submitting payment and sending your dog to daycare, you acknowledge acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

10.2 You understand that this agreement is legally binding and governs your relationship with FurBaby.

10.3 This agreement remains in effect until you cancel your dog’s attendance or FurBaby discontinues your dog’s participation under these Terms & Conditions.
