Welcome to FurBaby Puppy School!
Thank you for choosing FurBaby to be part of your puppy’s early training journey. We’re excited to welcome you to our classes and help your pup build a strong foundation for a happy and well-behaved life.

Before getting started, please take a moment to read through the following information. If you have any questions, we’re always here to help.

The Importance of Early Socialisation
Puppies go through a critical socialisation period between 6 and 16 weeks of age. During this window, positive exposure to people, other animals, and new environments plays a vital role in shaping their behaviour. Without proper socialisation, puppies may be at greater risk of developing fear-based behaviours, reactivity, or low confidence later in life.

Vaccinations & Health
While your puppy’s vaccination schedule may not be fully complete, this time overlaps with their key socialisation window. To strike a healthy balance between safety and social development, we follow strict hygiene and safety measures.

To minimise the risk of infection:

- All puppies must have at least their first (primary or temporary) vaccination prior to joining.

- Puppies must only interact with other vaccinated dogs or puppies.

- Classes are held in clean, controlled indoor environments — no outdoor or public areas.

For the safety of all pups, we kindly ask that you avoid taking your puppy into public areas (e.g., parks, dog beaches, footpaths) until your Puppy School course is complete.

Injuries & Play
Puppy play can be enthusiastic and sometimes a little rough. While we always aim to maintain a safe environment, minor injuries can occasionally occur during social play.

Behaviour & Training
Your puppy’s behaviour is shaped by a mix of socialisation, genetics, and their environment. Our classes are a great first step in building positive habits, but continued training and reinforcement at home is essential for long-term success.

Please note that while Puppy School gives your dog the best start possible, it does not guarantee specific behavioural outcomes.

Waiver & Liability
By enrolling in FurBaby Puppy School, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

- Participation involves minimal risk and is undertaken at your own discretion.

- FurBaby (and its staff, trainers, and affiliated professionals) will not be held responsible for any injury, damage, or loss sustained during or as a result of class attendance.

- If your puppy becomes distressed or significantly disrupts the group, our team may suggest behaviour modifications or, in rare cases, recommend withdrawing from the class for the wellbeing of all participants.

Payments, Refunds & Transfers
- Once your enrolment is confirmed, fees are non-refundable and non-transferable

- If we are able to fill your spot before the course begins, a refund may be issued minus a $25 administration fee.

- Requests to transfer to a different course must be received at least 5 business days before the start of your original class.

Final Agreement
By submitting your enrolment, you agree that:

- You are fully responsible for any loss, damage, or injury caused by yourself, your puppy, or your guests while attending FurBaby Puppy School.

- You will cover any costs resulting from the above.

- You will follow all FurBaby Puppy School rules and regulations.

- You acknowledge that you have read and understood these terms, and that you are voluntarily waiving certain legal rights by completing and submitting this form.
