It is very difficult to find the right place to work for a quality chef. There are many restaurants and casual dining places out there that will hire any random college graduate but not a chef who is a professional or is a skilled chef.
This may be true especially for kitchens where the chef is known for a specific meal or style of cooking. If the kitchen is going to be changing for a change, then it would not be a good idea to hire the chef who is experienced and has won awards for his food.
The truth is that a professional chef has to be able to do the cooking himself. It would be much better to hire a chef who has some experience in cooking for companies because he can make sure that the food served to customers is fresh and done the way he wants it to be done. He has to be trained to put in orders in an organized manner so that the cook does not burn out.
A quality chef will never just start with a restaurant. He will have to start out by starting small. When he has established himself in the business, he can move on to bigger places.

The business plan should have all the details about where you want to expand and what types of food you want to offer. There should be some type of budget that you can spend on your expansion plans and they should be planned out very well.
You also have to check whether there is any market demand for what you are offering. This will help you plan your expansion so that there is no risk involved.
You also have to take a look at your kitchen management system. If you are going to put in a management system for the kitchen, then you have to figure out how to hire people who can do the job you are paying them to do.
It will also be beneficial to find out if there are any areas in the kitchen where a professional chef can use some help. For example, if you are having a tough time cutting onion rings, you can find someone who knows how to cut onions and help you out.
